Lisa Perrotti-Brown: The deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Latour à Pomerol is 100% Merlot with pretty notions of red roses, potpourri and lavender over a core of red currants, black cherries and blueberries plus hints of baking spices and forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied and grainy with approachable tannins, invigorating freshness and bags of fruit, finishing on a spicy note.

James Suckling: A very pretty and solid 2017 with chewy tannins and clean and focused fruit. Compacted and tight. Shows excellent potential.
