James Suckling: Dense and fruity with a linear and fresh tannin and acidity backbone. Medium to body. Fresh finish. Building on the finish. Lovely finish. Almost all merlot. Could be even higher in bottle.

Wine Enthusiast: This wine is structured and impressively firm, yet surprisingly juicy, with a rich, dense texture balanced by fine acidity. The spicy, smoky character shows through strongly.
