James Suckling: Layered and intense with a fantastic depth of fruit and finesse. Full body, very fine yet chewy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Close to the excellent 2015.

Jancis Robinson: Some real class on the nose here (fancy barrels?). 60% new oak. Then just slightly flat and not quite fresh enough on the palate. Not bad! Definitely not run-of-the-mill right bank. Slightly austere tannins on the end but lovely length. Definitely getting there...
